Lou Fenninger

For over 30 years, Lou has run a number of his own businesses but his primary business was in the art framing industry. Lou was able to create Art Source into a well-known brand in the industry and developed it into a solid family-owned business. Most recently Lou made the decision to sell the business and was able to find a strategic buyer to fold Art Source into Streamline Art and Frame.

Business growth has been a passion for Lou for many years and he's going to be able to use that experience in providing counsel to other entrepreneurs. In addition, having gone through the experience of selling his business, Lou will be able to assist business owners who are looking to transition themselves out of their businesses. In Lou's case, experience really matters.

Lou's work in the industry included building a memorable brand, establishing community presence through a variety of mediums, conveying core strengths in an effective manor, and creating a managable organizational structure.

Lou is still very competitive in his two favourite sports - skiing and biking. Each year Lou competes at Whistler in the 'Peak to Valley' downhill race and won it again in 2011. Additionally, Lou and his wife, Marianne, continue to coach various race programs and are very active at Sir Sam's Ski Resort which is very close to their all-season chalet in the Haliburton Highlands. When Lou is not skiing down Sir Sam's hills, you can find him on the mountain bike trails!
