Gary Collins and Mark Edwards launched 4Growth in 2008. They combined divergent but complimentary skills. Gary spent 20+ years in the high tech industry in sales, marketing, executive and general management with a focus on customer engagement. Mark spent 20+ years in both large and small accounting firms leveraging his financial knowledge to assist companies in using financial strategies to leverage and grow their business. Together, they were convinced their combined skills would be most useful for organizations who were stuck or hit a wall.
They were right.
They discovered that many companies, at one point or another, faced obstacles that allowed them to continue their growth. Since 2008, 4Growth has worked with over 75 companies! We’ve really enjoyed working with leading managers to discover the ways and means to move their business forward, to clear the hurdles, to accept market challenges, to embrace the unknown and to find and build the right teams. It’s been a real pleasure.

Gary Collins
I believe in evidenced-based management. Numbers don’t lie. They demonstrate capability and execution. I believe that ‘experience matters,’ but better still, successful experiences matter more.
Since 2008, as the founding Partner of 4Growth, I enjoy working with companies to grow their businesses. I relish rolling up my sleeves and taking an active role in my client’s growth. I thrive on being able to identify 3-5 things that will make a difference and accelerate the talent that is already embedded in most organizations. It’s rewarding to see strategy turned into action – driving change and I would describe my style as both energetic and purposeful; insightful, passionate, and modern. I value research and applying old and new models. The combination of both bring powerful results. My clients would describe me as a results-oriented individual.
I also serve as the President of a National Non-Profit Charity – Epilepsy Canada. Charity is hard work and selfless. It takes courage to go to the marketplace and ask people to donate their hard-earned monies. To know that you are making a difference in other people’s lives is deeply satisfying.

Paul Cherry
After being involved with two new enterprises, the remainder of Paul’s business career saw him playing a key role starting up Mister Coffee and Services Inc in Toronto some 38 years ago as Co-Founder and Partner. Through his desire to succeed as well as learning that working with and motivating others is a fundamental model for success, he developed a wide range of practical experience in General Management, Sales and Operations. Paul worked through several roles developing and nurturing the growth of the business.
Over his career, Paul recognized, oversaw and implemented the changes necessary to sustain and grow through business cycles consistent with the industry - a vision key to the continued success of the company.
Paul feels a yearning to pass on his knowledge and experience in an effort to help businesses sustain themselves and grow. He brings practical experience.
As a family man, he and his wife reside in East York and cottage in Haliburton. Over the past 25 years he has given back to his community serving on the Board of Directors of the Victoria Village Hockey League with some 450 kids.
